Notices to Non-starter Textile Units
.. -
July 30, 2015 HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) has served notices to 18 non-starter units at Pashamylaram Textile Park in Medak district on Wednesday.
If the entrepreneurs fail to start the units immediately, action will be taken for cancellation of the allotments. The same land will be allotted to potential investors.
A decision to this effect was taken at a review meeting held at Pashamylaram by industries minister Jupally Krishna Rao.
Out of 42 entrepreneurs, who came forward to start textile units in Pashamylaram, only 15 have started commercial production. This includes 10 powerloom units, of which only two are working. The unit holders were demanding to install a gate for Pashamylaram park as they feel insecure about their valuables in the units.
It was decided at the meeting to post a senior officer at the park to monitor the place. Regarding works, the TSIIC would come up with best solutions and a time frame will be fixed.
