July 29, 2015 Textile sector entrepreneurs in Tirupur knitwear cluster on Tuesday paid tributes to former President A.P. J. Abdul Kalam who died at Shillong on Monday evening.

In separate functions organised, businessmen affiliated to Sripuram Trust, formed of different stakeholders in textiles sector, and South India Hosiery Manufacturers Association remembered the contributions made by Mr. Kalam both as an administrator and as a scientist. The industrialists recollected the simplicity of Mr. Kalam even after he travelled to the Rashtrapathi Bhavan.
