Trident announced that due to continuous heavy rains since 20 July 2015 in Madhya Pradesh, there has been intrusion of flash flood water in Trident Budni Complex. Due to which, the Yarn manufacturing operations as well as ongoing Composite Textile Project at Budni have been disrupted. Further, the link between Bhopal and Budni Complex of the Company has got cut off as some parts of nearby roads and bridge has swept away.
The Company has deployed dedicated risk management team to assess the loss occurred and technical team to take corrective measures to resume operations & expansion projects of the Company.
The Company expects resumption of normal operations shortly.
