March 13, 2024 New York – Global bedding company Indo Count boasts that its enhanced bedding lineup offers consumers “the softest touch ever experienced.”

The manufacturer’s latest development, Platinum Touch sheets, incorporates a proprietary technology inspired by Italian luxury shirt manufacturers. The softness technology combines uniquely treated yarns with advanced finishing treatments, resulting in a vibrant range of colors and ultra-soft sheets.

The line is being offered in a luxurious sateen, a soft twill and a crisp, cool percale.

“With decades of expertise in improving touch, processing and finishing, Platinum Touch offers an exquisite experience that is universally appealing, sure to make our customers very happy,” said Gautam Sareen, president of marketing for Indo Count Industries Limited.

Underscoring its commitment to sustainability, Indo Count’s Pure Earth Collection is introducing exclusive agro-based dyes. These are extending across the full range of its bedding categories, including blankets, fashion and utility bedding.

In addition, its Rekoop portfolio of bedding is unveiling a new line of fade-resistant sheeting, dyed with an innovative process using less water, ensuring consistent, durable color and a long-lasting shine of 100% plant origin. The manufacturer’s Reloop circularity brand features certified regenerative cotton and fibers from upcycled Agro waste.

At New York Home Fashions Market, Indo Count is introducing a unique sheeting collection called Fiber Color. Derived from cotton textile waste, Fiber Color enhances the company’s circularity offering.

“Circularity is attractive to our customers, and in the new Reloop collection, we’ve improved the softness and color, so these sheets feel great while being great for the planet,” said Gautam.

In other developments, Indo Count has been heavily investing in digitalization for business process re-engineering. This strategic move aims to elevate overall customer services, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for its accounts.

Furthermore, Indo Count is doubling down on its commitment to green energy by investing in solar power. The initiative is part of the company’s overall drive to reduce its carbon footprint and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Indo Count has also announced its debut on the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) of S&P Global, a global benchmark for corporate sustainability.

“Our inclusion in this index not only enhances the transparency of our commitments to sustainability but also serves as benchmark for further improvements,” said K.K Lalpuria, executive director and CEO of Indo Count Industries.

He added, “At Indo Count, being an ESG-focused organization means considering sustainability not just as a regulatory requirement but as a responsible business practice. We believe in integrating environmental, social and governance considerations into our core business strategies, reflecting our commitment to creating a positive impact.”

The company’s New York showroom is located at 390 Fifth Ave, Suite 405.
